Stupidity knows no bounds...

What a f*cking moron.

Seriously, how stupid can people be?

Only a complete twat would get a tattoo in a language they know nothing about-- hell, from the looks of that video, she was still grasping the basic mechanics of the exclusive domain (in this country anyway), that is the English language.

Un-f*cking-believable.

I feel ashamed to belong to the same nation as that waste of matter.

Could have been worse. She could have started an diplomatic crisis by having 'I went to Tiananmen square and all I got was this crappy massacre' tattooed on her forearm.

I always laugh at people with japanese tats as I know if i was the artist I'd so change the meaning, lets face it they only get them cause its the'in thing'

One thing I don't get is how Chinese tatoos are more popular than Japanese tatoos. Kanji looks much cooler than Chinese characters, no?

It's hilarious that you counter any criticisms of your beloved moe/loli series by attacking stuff that are accepted classics (GitS, Death Note spring to mind).

not as hilarious as the fact that you alway have to run back to that arguement

I think the only ever kanji tat I would get are the kanji for yumiya (bow arrow) as I am an archer but they are both pretty boring yumi just looks like a 5 with an extra bit at the top.

Mostly because the people who get them are absent minded as long as it looks azn and cool. Sucks that instead of getting "I love you Bob" they're really getting "I'm a wanker" in Japanese.

Which is why when I get a tattoo it's going to be the Brand of Sacrifice from Berserk. ;D

Omg... thats brilliant... I agree with what Kurogane was saying, i wonder if she really can speak english to begin with?
'Un-Die'ing love'... they broke up, FAIL! but on a serious note, wouldnt you just sue the tattoo company? that guys comment 'They wouldnt know what it says anyway' is a bit erm... bastardish, if thats the right word? maybe arrogant... i dunno im tired, NIGHTY NIGHT!

Aye, David. Check out this blog post (and its comments) Here. You'll be dying a little bit inside. Haha. Martin from here and ConcreteBadger summed it all up in one sentence - "Never judge a show purely on its character designs…" and that is one of the truest things about a so-called Moe looking show you shall ever see. Anyway.. Just thought I'd show you that. ;D

And at the Comeback to Ryo... Death Note, a classic? Bebop or something is more deserving of that place.

You couldn't ever sue a tattooist for permenantly marking a part of your body, AFTER YOU REQUESTED IT-- even if she did drop the ball on what it meant.

I'd imagine she did some 3 minute half ass internet search, or asked in a chippy what it meant, and they screwed with her.

On a different note; GITS > Lucky Star.

Nah, Lucky Star is okay. Obviously, it doesn't deserve the title "Best Series of 2007", not by a long, long, long shot, but I don't think I'd brand it moe, really. I think it knows that it's character designs are moe-ish and I think it kind of laughs at itself for that. Sure, there are creepy people that get turned on by those girls (that look like they are 11) but - as a chnage for Kyoto Animation - that wasn't the animators' intention; Lucky Star is kind of like Azumanga Daioh in that way, in that the characters aren't supposed to be lusted after, but many people lust after them anyway.

I absolutely hate complementing Kyoto Animation, but I think they done a good job with Lucky Star, just like they did with Haruhi Suzumiya. Pity they have to ruin that by making trash like Kanon and AIR and Clannad :[

And at the Comeback to Ryo... Death Note, a classic? Bebop or something is more deserving of that place.

Of course Bebop is a classic, but Death Note is too by this stage.
