Square-Enix Reveal No FFXIII at E3 2007

Who's ready to form an angry mob? Today, Square-Enix America released their E3 2007 line up including many of their leading titles. However Final Fantasy XIII, Versus or any other mention of the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation are left out. Hopes of a new FFXIII trailer seem to be out the window.

This news was brought up a few days ago by a 1up.com podcast but without, what looked like any proof. It seems they were right. However, Final Fantasy XIII was never listed on their lineup before 2006's E3 either. Although, that was most likely because they were announcing it there. There is the possibility that FFXIII could appear in Sony's key note presentation like last E3 but unless it does, it looks like we're in for another long wait to see some new footage.

Square-enix confirmed their line-up for E3 the night before it was due to start, and FFXIII wasn't given the slightest mention, so i got the idea from that not to expect anything. Still, nothing too serious anyways, it had no chance of getting released this year, so you may as well wait and see what TGS has to offer.

Yeah, no point getting worked up over it. At this stage in developement you'd probably get another cut-scene passed off as "real time".
