After a surprisingly rough ride for the winter season, with all-time low ratings recorded for its dual offerings of Fractale and Wandering Son (not helped of course by the major disaster which befell Japan in March), it appears that Fuji Television's noitaminA programming block might be on an upward swing once again with its selection of shows for the spring.

The good news comes via Crunchyroll, and more primarily via the Twitter account of the programming block's producer Kouji Yamamoto, who reported that last week's noitaminA shows recorded a peak viewership of 5.5% - an impressive feat, even taking into account that these figures were likely to be higher due to the start of Golden Week in Japan.

Other sources have also reported a week on week viewer number increase for this season's two noitaminA series, with an average figure of 3.9% given for the slot's April 29th broadcasts.

Of course you can currently watch one of this season's two noitaminA series, C - The Money of Soul and Possibility Control, in the UK via Anime on Demand.

This is, of course, great news. noitaminA has long been a source of great shows, and AnoHana might just turn out to be the best of them.
