With my current interest in older anime, I came across numerous references to this series. It sounds like a classic when you read the synopsis but it may have been spoiled in the western releases. It seems it’s only available with an English dub and has been subject to some ‘westernising’ such as name changes and removal of scenes involving personal violence and alcohol consumption.
So has anyone seen any of it and is it actually worth trying to get hold of?
