Something about the dub of DBZ that always bugged me

So with DBZ finally out on DVD over here I've been watching the episodes that were redubbed by Funimation (to replace the edited dub by Ocean Studios) but one thing about Funimations dub of DBZ that bugged me so much was their overuse of words like "heck", "darn", and "gosh". I understand not being able to swear on CN but they did the same thing on the uncut dub, and I'm hearing the same thing on the uncut dub of the Sayian saga. I just found it odd considering other shows airing on CN at the time had similar edits made but didn't do so on thier uncut versions but DBZ did. Am I the only one bugged by this?
 
Can't say I ever really noticed it. In saiyan that(DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!?!?!), I don't think any more profane words are really necessary in any way, those words suffice for the most part, they get the point across.
 
It is important to take the target audience into account when deciding how to translate saying "you" rudely.

These handcuffs are really chafing you know..
