They aren't 'annoyed' at people who simply have Amazon Wishlists, but those who give out the links to their followers/fans and either assume/hint/ask for things to be bought for them.
The other fun thing about the internet. Misunderstandings happen quite quickly. (Me and social skills...)

Of course that is totally fine Agent!
Well, I misunderstood your initial post then. My apologies.

I just meant that I thought it was only porn stars who shared their wishlists to random people via twitter and the like, so their lonely virtual patrons will buy them the stuff. It's that practice that I find slightly conceited.
You can look at it from multiple perspectives... Not saying I approve of the practice though. I don't condone it.
I believe that those girls could've done many other
(legal!) things to get money...
It shows a kind of laziness actually, but a kind of stupidity as well! Think about it, if any of the women get a child...
It's inevitable the kid (especially when it's a boy) will someday run into the database of pictures and videos about his/her mom 12 to 25 years ago doing porn.
However, that aside... I wouldn't say they are all abusing the men who do stupid things when aroused though.
In certain cases there's probably an overlord abusing both the porn star and the audience I described above.

Not sure why people would donate such gifts to a random YouTube gamer, I dunno, maybe her vids are powerfully moving. Part of me wonders whether it's because it's a female gamer, but that's probably sexist of me. Do male YouTube gamers also do this practice?
Yes, I can confirm this is done by more YouTubers, including male.
To make it easier I categorize almost all kinds of gifts for another cause next to myself as a donation.. So that includes gifting from an Amazon wishlist.
It's rather hard to explain what I approve when it comes to YouTubers... How and what YouTubers earn is rather hard to explain and learn about.
You could compare a few YouTubers on
socialblade (edit the url with the YouTubers you want to compare).
The truth you need to remember is nobody really knows what any YouTuber earns except the YouTuber himself/herself and the network they are with.
Some networks will give the YouTuber only 50% of the revenue they created with the channel and others get 80%.
(And you earn more money with MineCraft than anything else really)
Those estimates only really tell you how much they earn at the very least (as in lowest amount of money they "could" be getting from their partnership).
Now... What do their earnings have to do with these donations. Simple! A full-time YouTuber also needs to cope outside YouTube and has to compete with other YouTubers.
(like companies do)
Their channel needs to improve at all times, and many (not all) try to do stuff for their subscribers as well. All costs money. (And all consumes time.)
So there are channels I approve the existence of the "donate"/"gift"/"shop"-button of and there are channels I don't approve it of.
(because eg. they "demand" donations without good reason)
And be honest here, at least most YouTubers don't sell their bodies... That's at least something you should have respect for. Even if you don't approve of donations...
However, all those things aside... There are only two things I spent money on that
could be considered donations of mine: the
Patema Inverted KickStarter (£45) & the
Peter and the Desus EP (£4 IIRC).
And both those causes added something to my collection... So it could be considered just a purchase of mine, just like buying anime through the usual means.
