Shonen Jump USA

I'm considering collecting Shoenen Jump USA, starting with the November issue (in which Bleach begins serialisation), so I want to know - is it worth it? How much of the Bleach manga do I get in SJ?
 
I wouldn't be able to say personally. But its probably a chapter of Bleach. If your only looking out for that, Your much better off just buying the separate tankobons. Be cheaper as well.

P.S. Its usually Shounen, Shonen or less frequently used, Shōnen.
 
Bleach starts off in Monthly Jump chapter 175 or some crap because the bi-monthly releases started catching up with the Japanese releases so they needed to hold them back, now instead of releasing every two months it's once every three months. This is the manga volumes of Bleach btw, so you're better off -not- getting it if you want Bleach, better just buying the volumes. But Monthly Jump of USA is pretty ******, and most people buy it for the Yu-Gi-Oh cards you get with them.

This is what's in Monthly Jump right now:

Yu-Gi-Oh Millenium World [Finishing soon]
Yu-Gi-Oh GX [Crap]
One Piece [Obviously good]
Bobobo-bobo-bobo [Good]
Hikaru no Go [Eh, Obata's series before Death Note, hardly any recognition, yes, he did manga before Death Note, shock horror!]
Yu Yu Hakusho [Pretty good]
And sometimes one-off taster chapters.

If you just want it for Bleach, don't get it, obviously.

Oh, you also get 3/4 chapters of Bleach a month, since it's Monthly Jump, and is trying to give you the amount you get for four Weekly Jumps.
 
I wish Bo^7 got proper VIZ releases. That one shot was good and all, But I wouldn't mind owning it all. Hikaru no Go seems pretty hardcore, VIZ are taking yonks with there releases for that as well though. Pfft.

That doesn't seem too bad, and Jump USA is cheaper than the regular volumes of Bleach, and there's other manga in there too. Plus, Slam Dunk is starting next month in Jump USA, and I'd really like to check that out. I think I might just order this as that's the one in which Bleach starts being serialised, yes?
 
Yes, that is the very first issue with Bleach in, fully serialized.

But why start out at a point in the story you're no where near yet? It's like me watching Full Metal Alchemist in the middle of the series at episode 25, I won't -know- what's going on at all. But it's up to you dawg, I'm just the messenger. ;/

Oh, so Bleach doesn't 'start' in the issue, it just starts proper serialisation?
 
Yes, it doesn't start from chapter 1 it starts from the end of volume 20 and start of volume 21 chapter 175 or something, like I said before.
 
I have got the issue and you get 5 chapters of the manga and it is the story from volume 21 of bleach. It is brilliant and it is getting quite interesting in the december issue.
