Buy the subbed version and get a friend to watch it with you. Mute the volume and have them read the subtitles in character. I guarantee you'll enjoy the subbed version after that. ;)


The last dub commissioned by a UK company was Ghost in the Shell: Innocence by Manga I believe (Dreamworks originally released it in the US sans-dub). It's not something which is common any more, sadly. As a sub fan myself I could get fantastic re-watch value out of dubs as hilarious as Manga's classic ones. The Yanks just don't make 'em like that.
