A show i've overlooked many many times because of the UUUUUUGLY character designs. Yesterday I was randomly clicking around on youtube and found the new funimation English dub so I gave it a watch. Oh mah gord! I couldn't stop laughing. Hilarious.

This is the only time I think i'll ever say this. The English dub is a million times better than the original.

"A Kiss? That's like the best thing a girl can blow!"

Has anybody else seen this new dubbed version?

I used to watch this on Jetix last year.

It's funny as hell.

I will be buying this as soon as Funi release it. It's more like Yu-Gi-Oh: Abridged than a real dub though.

The Yu Gi Oh Abridged Dub? I'd say they're on par.

If you mean the other toned down Shin-chan dub then yes i'd say it's funnier. This one is a lot more coarse and vulgar. Kinda in the vein of South Park in a way.

I just watched a bit on youtube and I nearly died laughing. This dub is much better than the old one.

Shin-chan's mum talking to his little sister;

"Hima did you take the one pleasure in mommie's life that doesn't involve a detachable shower head?"

"Hiding magazines under your matress. Really Hima what else have you picked up from your father?"

Haha! Yeah it's got so many great quotes.

"'Parry Hotter'? What a friggin' rip-off! It doesn't even look like he's a wizard!"

Thirty seconds in and this stuff is gold, I'm so buying this.

Only 6 episodes so far. They ran it as a test run on Adult Swim. I'm positive it will get picked up and shown in full though. Well I hope it does... o.o

It doesn't look like it's coming to DVD. Apparently loads of silly fans were angered by this new dub and the test screening didn't do so well. I'm really quite annoyed because I loved this version.

Well, there's always someone who in unstaisfied with something if it's not 100% true to the original Japanese versin and will shoot it down.
