Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki steps down from Sega

Thought this may interest a fair few of you, considering there is a fair amount of Shenmue fans here:

According to the news post there, he hasn't left entirely, but even still the fact that he's stepped down will be enough for the Shenmue 3 rumours to collapse i expect.

Oh... Thankfully, none of those Shenmue rumours. I always found the series to be dreadfully overrated imo and the rumours are annoying, especially when repeated on Gamecentral.

He and Itagaki should go to Platinum games, that way they will make the ultimate gaming company. Shenmue 3 was never meant to be away.

Well it was the "official" Shenmue Online trailer that was meant to be, strange concept but ashame it never took of the ground.

Hmmm. I never really liked the look of Shenmue Online but if it had come out then it could have resulted in Shenmue 3 being made. I still want number 3 to come out. Or at least the story should be finished somehow! (eg. Light Novel, Graphic Novel etc)
