The trailer shown last month at Comic Market 80 last month for J.C. Staff's upcoming Shakugan no Shana III (FINAL) television anime series has found it's way online (lest the copyright ninjas get to it again) after being posted up on the official website.
The official website also announced that the singer KOTOKO, who has become a regular performer for the franchise, will be performing the first opening theme "Light my Fire" - the single of which will be released on 16th November. The ending theme will be performed by Altima (a new unit composed of motsu, fripside's sound producer sat, and Moan Kurosaki).
As the name suggests, Shakugan no Shana III (FINAL) is the third and final television adaptation of Yashichiro Takahashi and Noizi Ito's light novel series, which ended in Japan with the 22nd volume, which was released today. The series is set to begin airing in Japan on 7th October.
Viz Media released the first 2 light novels in English and have been releasing the manga. Geneon licensed the first television anime series for North America before FUNimation saved the license (The series was distributed in the UK by MVM Entertainment). Last year, FUNimation announced that they had acquired the license for the second television anime, the movie and OVAs; all planned for release this year (although there has been no subsequent announcements since).
