I just noticed that Shaman King is being released on DVD over here. I watched this series on Jetix a while back and loved it! So, I really reccomend that you all check it out! It was probably the first anime series I properly watched, and I really, really loved it!

It's only £8 / €12 for 8 episodes too!

Well, IIRC, there wasn't an awful lot censored, in fact I remember there were a good few scenes that had blood in them. Also, the voice actors done a very good job, IMO.
 
I've never seen Shaman king. But I think if I ever do decide to check it out *which I probably will one day* i'll just read the manga. Unless those uncut region 1 DVDs ever start getting launched again.
 
Well, I don't know if the Japanese voice acting is better, or if the series was extensively cut - all I know is that I really enjoyed the series in that form! ^_^
 
I used to watch this on jetix aswell and ill agree that the dubbing wasnt to bad, although i have seen the subbed episodes so i cant be 100% sure which is better.
 
Heh, this is the only show that 4Kids haven't managed to ruin, which is usually a shock...

unless this is the 4Kids before it start ruining shows
