Yup, decided to watch Shakugan no Shana, and so far, I'm loving it.

To anyone who doesn't know the storyline, here it is.

Plot Summary: Sakai Yuuji, a high school student who expected his normal life to last forever, is dead. When he was on his way home he witnessed a shocking view as the world suddenly froze: people were engulfed by blue flames and a monster resembling a large doll swallowed them. Just as the monster prepared to consume Yuuji, a sword-wielding girl in black attire with flaming red eyes and hair that burns like embers saved him from the monster. The girl called herself a "Flame Haze" who hunts the "Guze no Tomogara", creatures from another world. As Yuuji noticed a blue flame in his chest, she called him a "Torch", a temporary replacement, saying that the "real" Yuuji's existence had already ended. Unfazed, Yuuji befriended the strange girl, named her "Shana", and joined her fight against Tomogara and other Flame Hazes

So far, the Anime is excellent, coming from the 1st episode I watched... And since its Romance, which I failed to see in tons of anime because it is so boring.

But overall, Its far by the best Anime I seen in a long time. I say it knocks Bleach into No2 (Time for the Bleach Fans to murder me)

So, opinions...

All being well I should have volumes 1 & 2 arrive in the post tomorrow. I'd read some reviews that raved about it and said that it's surprisingly dark, so I ordered the first two volumes earlier today.

So I'll give you my thoughts sometime next week.

btw did you manage to find the light novel(s)?

Did you buy the Manga, because I've heard the Manga is the weakest out of the anime and the Light novels.

Nope, I went straight for the anime. I've heard the same as you about the manga.

Cooooooooool

Tell me about how good the Dub is as well ^^

I hope this gets released in the UK as soon as possible. This is better than Ichigo Kurosaki O_O

The first Novel is on Book Depository which is good. Also I've been waiting for the DVD's to come out in England for ages because I really want to hear the dub. If they take much longer to bring it out I'm just going to get R1's.
