I've seen some of it and I liked it up to about episode 8 and then I just lost interest
haha, i guess the problem with Romantic Comedies, is the fact that the Romance side never really develops until the end (especially in a lot of Shounen and Seinen works, like Love Hina or Karin), that actually hooks me, to see if the romance side develops but i feel cheated when it doesn't

i respect your opinion though :)

Nope, but checked it out and liked the sound of it.
Added it to my (rather lengthy) to-watch list. I'll let you know what I think whenever I get round to watching it!

I have often wondered about mermaids. Only their top halves are humanoid, aren't they?

Seto No Hanayome is by far the best romantic comedy in recent years. Simply by virtue of the fact that Nagasumi doesn't take any ****. It's refreshing to have a protagonist not being team-rocketed into next week and then crawling back and going "that's good sir, can I have more?"

And when he does get Team Rocketed, things explode.

But seriously, it's just refreshing to have a show that a comedic romance that treats it's relationship, I dunno, like a relationship? I mean the final battle is instated via an argument over SOCKS for goodness sake (It leads to HotouNoKen-Nagasumi, granted, but SOCKS!).

"Why couln't she have been the other type of mermaid, with the fish part on the top and the lady part on the bottom?!

Yay for Futurama quotage. :D

It certainly has its moments, but I felt the actual story wasn't strong enough to keep me interested when the gags weren't hitting home - think I gave up around episode 20 or so.

Also their yakuza seem to engage in about as much organised crime as the One Piece crew do piracy.
