Another spin-off from the enduring and much loved Tenchi Muyo! anime series, Jo Sarsam has reviewed the apparently "‘poor cousin’ of the Tenchi franchise" Tenchi in Tokyo. This is still unreleased in the UK.<ul class="menu2">"The ‘poor cousin’ of the Tenchi franchise, Tenchi in Tokyo seems forever destined to be unfavourably compared to its predecessors. With its predominantly mediocre content and presentation, the series lacks the appeal to attract newcomers to the world of Tenchi, but there are more than enough entertaining moments to keep the diehard fan occupied."</ul><a href="http://www.animeuknews.net/viewreview.php?showreview=189">Read the full review.</a>

i didnt really like the idea of this mainly because i liked the tenchi ryoko ayeka relationship, and kiyone and mihoshi but these are pulled apart too much.

the one thing i liked about this one was that ryo ohki was able to transform into that big robot that made me laugh when i first saw it

i didnt like sakura

I remember that...i liked the series of Tenchi Muyo and Universe a lot...i can't say about the Tenchi in Tokyo thoug, cause i never saw all the episodes, but i saw a few. i do agree that the main relationship between Ayeka, Ryoko and tenchi was somewhat broken but there was some good bits in it. i did prefer the original Tenchi Muyo though...
