I've been put off from collecting manga at a large scale since I haven't figured out many ways I could sell them when I no longer wanted them in my collection. With anime and games, you just trade them in but as far as I'm aware book stores don't let you trade in pre-owned books. So, aside from the section we have on the AUKN forums, where are good places to sell the manga I no longer want?

I sell mine at anime con's like Minami Con, Amazon allow you to sell your books through them but you don't get much for them as you have to try to undercut other sellers of the same manga. I also sell stuff through ebay which works well I have gotten rid of a lot of series I didn't want to collect any more
There will be some second hand book/comic shops that will buy or trade stuff from you, but you probably won't get half what you would selling on ebay or the like. Although you might get a slightly higher value in trade for things from their stock, than cash. Also before you sell anything on check what it might be worth, some out of print or hard to get items may be more valuable than you realise.
Most second hand shops, etc. wont give you a very good price at all.
Ebay and online shops will sometimes give you a reasonable price, but it might take a while. But, sometimes you may get ripped off.
As Dracos said, check prices. Your probably best of asking people you know. Ask people in comic shops, online, forums, etc.
Overall, I think the best place to sell things is on anime forums online, like this one. You will find people who know what they're buying, and know what they need. Also, a lot of people will buy stuff, just to check it out.
Also, you might want to try get your friends into manga, then sell it to them! ^_^

Some of the manga I want to sell aren't complete, as in I got bored of them before buying all volumes. Is it best to try and sell my manga all in one or is it better to sell all of it as individual volumes? It's going to be lame if I sell volume one and three, but nobody buys volume two.

It is just the risk you will have to take. Personally I like to try and buy as many volumes as I can in one go, but am put off if there are ones missing inbetween. I think most people will be looking for individual volumes, but then if you put them up like that you may end up as you said with some unsold books.

Yeah, I haven't listed anything yet as I haven't decided how exactly to sell them. I don't have much to sell anyway, just 1-3 of .Hack, 1-7 of D.N.Angel and 1-9 of Battle Vixens. Also, slightly off topic but I don't want to make another topic just to ask this; how do people keep track of all these upcoming expos and crap, any sites I should know that gives information on such things? Just noticed the London Expo topic and realised I wouldn't even know about any expos if it wasn't for this forum section.
