Oh hells yeah. Here's hoping for some closure this time.

Despite being a fan, I have to agree with that. Still, at least season 2 was still funny.Sy said:The first series was entertaining enough but dragging it out for 3 is just milking it to death.

Then the manga was dragged out as well.melonpan said:Sy said:The first series was entertaining enough but dragging it out for 3 is just milking it to death.
If it's just animated the manga then why is that any worse than animated the manga previous to the third season?
That is, of course, a personal opinion. My own personal opinion is there can't be enough School Rumble. Whether you like it or not is really dependant upon your attachment to the cast of characters, which for me are the big driving force to the franchise. Of course it isn't everyone's cup of tea but I certainly enjoy it .Sy said:Then the manga was dragged out as well.melonpan said:Sy said:The first series was entertaining enough but dragging it out for 3 is just milking it to death.

A season is, in all cases, 12-13 episodes (ie 1/4 of a year). The Americans seem to have a more flexible view on this but in the UK we refer to the whole block of 24-26 episodes as a series, whilst a season is a half of that. To my knowledge the Japanese consider things in the same way with Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter scheduling marking the beginning and mid-points of series.Dracos said:This is one of those series that grew on me, I was not fussed at the beginning but it got better as it went along. I have the OAV Extra Class on order, I hope it continues the quality.
A quick question what is considered a season of this anime?
I know technically a season is normally around 12-13 episodes as that equates to approximately 3 months of one episode a week. Therefore a 24-26 episode series in the west is normally classed as one season, even though the Japanese release may well have been over two nonconcurrent seasons.
I consider something to be a whole season under a collective name. When the name changes or the name is given an extra title (Full Metal Panic -> Full Metal Panic The Second Raid), that is when I consider it a new season, so episode count doesn't mean much to me. For example, Hayate no Gotoku was supposed to be four seasons in 52 episodes, but I just consider it to be one season.Gawyn said:A season is, in all cases, 12-13 episodes (ie 1/4 of a year). This is where the definition of series and season get mangled up. Hayate no Gotoku would be one series, with four seasons. Whilst FMP! since they are all sparsely done and have a secondary title are three different series' featuring the same characters.Maxon said:I consider something to be a whole season under a collective name.
