School Days Ending *Spoilers*

Like the title says, there will be major spoilers in this thread.

So I just watched the ending to School Days. I'm still on the fence as to whether it was tasteful or not. Was all the blooshed and "gore" necessary? I'm also conflicted as to who was actually the bigger villain: Makoto or Sekai. There's also the matter of Sekai being pregnant or not. It's really hard to tell if she really was.

I've heard a lot of discussion about it another forum, but I'd like to get an idea of what you lot think.

I dont think she was. If you go down the pages a bit you can see ive put a major thread about how much i hate that anime. Started off well but went **** from episode 2 and onwards! I HATE IT SO MUCH! >.<

Well, people wanted a bloody end. It seems fair enough as the series climax, afterall.

Huh, I'm not sure that either one has to be a "bigger" villain - I'd say they're both idiots and have done with it ^^

I'm not sure the bloodshed was a fair climax. I would have liked to have seen a conclusion where there was some sort of retribution on Makoto's part, or having all the girls leave him. Having murder as a climax seemed a bit over the top (regardless of horroffic it was), and I put that down to lazy writing.

However, making Sekai out to be a villain might be a bit much. She didn't realise until near the end how horrible she had really been. I still think Makoto is one of the worst S.O.Bs I've come across in anime.
