The Belfast Film Festival includes a screening of Satoshi Kon's latest movie "Paprika" (Sunday April 1st at 7.30pm in Storm Cinemas, The Odyssey). Other anime related showings at the festival include Dead Leaves (24th March), Blood The Last Vampire (24th March) and The Animatrix (25th March). Take a look at aNIme for more information.

I really want to see Paprika on the big screen! This is good news, both the Leeds and Belfast film festival's will have screened it. We can only hope that others will follow suit.

I have already pre-ordered the dvd from play.com. The release date is bound to slip though if it already has not.

Think I'm gonna have to book my tickets for that one...if I can find a way to book tickets online for a showing after 22nd March >______<

Where is the DVD? I know Sony are pretty unreliable with their anime releases (Steamboy appeared on release lists, they suddenly changed their tune and released it theatrically... then released the subless vanilla version... on DVD), but is it too much to hope that we'll actually get a chance to see this movie sometime?

The Japanese release of the DVD is slated for mid May so don't expect it before then, at the very least.

My eyes accidently mixed this topic's title with the one below it, and I read "Satoshi Kon's murder at the Belfast Film Festival".

Was a bit shocked =|
