Saikano live action

ANN are reporting a live action adaptation of romantic tragedy Saikano is well underway. The film will premiere at the Tokyo Film Festival on October 29th, with a full Japanese release taking place in Febuary 2006.

That's quite a good choice for live action, although I still don't think it'll be as good as the anime... but that's just me.

I have an Anime Insider from March of this year and it says that Aki Maeda (Noriko Nakagawa Girl #15) from Battle Royale will be playing Chise.
