Over two years have passed since the conclusion of Toei Animation's <strong>Smile PreCure!</strong>, the ninth television anime in their <em>Pretty Cure</em> magical girl franchise, but it looks like preperations may be underway for the series' overseas debut.
WorldScreen's programming guide for the entertainent company Saban Brands (<em>Digimon</em>, <em>Power Rangers</em>) has revealed a listing for <strong>Glitter Force</strong>, a girls' action series depicting artwork from the <em>Smile PreCure!</em> franchise. The series is currently listing as containing forty 22-minute long episodes, which is slightly less than the fourty-eight episodes of the original series. At the time of writing, Saban Brands have yet to announce an acquisition of the <em style="line-height:1.6em">PreCure!</em> brand.
The franchise's twelth and latest instalment, <em style="line-height:1.6em">Go! Princess PreCure</em>, is currently being broadcast in Japan.
