Synopsis

Tsukune Aono is a painfully average high school freshman who is unable to get into any private schools due to his disappointing grades. The only school that he is finally accepted into turns out to be a secret school for supernatural monsters (yokai) who are in disguise as humans. The first student that Tsukune meets is the beautiful Moka Akashiya, who takes an immediate liking to him for an unusual reason; she is a vampire and is attracted to the sweet taste of his human blood. Tsukune quickly realizes that his admission into a monster school must have been a mistake and fears for his life.

I really like this series, just watched the first series and although the story is familiar, a harem with the girls liking one guy and all the boys hating him for it, there are some interesting aspects that could make this series stand out.

In the first ep we meet our hero, who is sent to a monster school by his parents by mistake (he fails to get into college and his dads finds a college acceptance pack in the street). Where he meets a Vampire who is 1. Hot and 2. addicted to him as she can smell his blood.

I really like the idea of him having to go upagainst other class mates who aren't human and not just vampires as he meets his current rival an orc so I really wanna see what else is gonna be after him in future episodes.

Just another monthly jump series made into an anime, might give it a look, or I might just read the manga, though it doesn't sound very... fresh, but then again it is a shounen series.

Doesn't it sound awfully similar to a Naruto X Bleach crossover thing, People who hate a kid who is able to see ghosts. Except with a worse name. Anyway, I'll give this show a go, It quite nice now a lot of shows are starting up again after a somewhat pitiful fall season. I'm speaking very early though, it could easily still be just as bad. Some of the things in it seem quite appealing to me, others are just a cliché.

the point is he can't see ghosts, demons and monsters exist in our world working jobs and living by our sides we just don't know it as they wear disguises.

I was... about 10 seconds into the show before I facepalmed, blasphemed, and in an instant knew what the rest of the episode would be like. I wasn't wrong.

Sure, technically it could be seen as being unfair to pass judgement on a series so quickly, but sometimes ya just know, and there's no point sitting through more episodes to reach the same conclusion.

Verdict: - panty-shot show.

It has the generic Shounen first chapter formula, but this time it's more obvious than usual.

I think I -might- watch it, for the lulz of course.

I've heard that is rather like Mx0, Boy goes to school meets girl, turns out it's like a magic school & all ecchi shinanigans go on.

But it does sound rather good, yet generic.
