Ross Taylor has hit us with a double bill of Slayers reviews. By looking at both ADV’s Slayers Gorgeous and Slayers Excellent, he appears to have been (almost) enchanted by these magical comedies.<ul><span class=menu>"For a one hour show that just about hits above average, the full asking price is very steep. Slayers Gorgeous is worth a watch, but it's not really a good introduction to the Slayers universe. With 3 series (unavailable in the UK at present) and a number of OVAs and specials, I'd say this was one for the fans only."</span></ul><a href="http://www.animeuknews.net/viewreview.php?showreview=100">Read full review</a>.<ul><span class=menu>"Slayers Excellent is genuinely funny and enjoyable throughout, and serves as a decent introduction to the Slayers OVAs set as it is at the start of Lina and Naga's adventures. After watching this I'm highly tempted to check out all the other DVDs as this is easily good enough in both value and content to counter the more disappointing Slayers Gorgeous."</span></ul><a href="http://www.animeuknews.net/viewreview.php?showreview=101">Read full review</a>.

Ill probably pick up the UK slayers dvds sometime in the near future, but i really wish someone would pick up the TV series for the UK....

I don't like the OVAs very much at all (and I've seen them all!). I can't stand Nagha and I blame her for peoples lack of interest in the TV show!

Slayers Great just dropped through the letterbox today so I'll be giving that a spin very soon.

I'm going to have to do some checking to see where I can get the series now, tsk, and my mate just got back from the States too...
