Midori no Hibi is your typical romcom anime with a twist. Seiji “Mad Dogâ€

This is one of the series I really want to get but whenever I go to buy it I'm never sure enough to hand over my money instead I always end up buying a series I have seen a few eps of already.

Cheers for the review Nyu, if anything this has definately pushed me more towards the BUY IT side, will have to keep an eye out for it in the future

I would recommend to anyone to go and buy the first volume atleast as it's considered to contain the best episodes (alos has a good chunk of bonus material such as audioplays with subtitles etc)

It's entertaining for a good 80% of the time, there is some rewatch value in it but i'd wait a while until i begin to play it again. I would however like to hear the dub cast as they are supposed to be very good.

The anime is a lot better than the manga because the manga just drags the concept out way too long. It was funny but I felt tha 13 episodes was enough for anyone.

I feel they should have done 14 or 15 episodes, the ending to me felt rushed and missed out alot of plots that the manga covered which was a shame.

In the manga she went back and forth about three times. I think that the anime ended better because it well... ended.

I haven't read the manga yet but is it true that in the manga Midori got to read the diary? Thats the only thing i didn't like about the ending, i would have loved to have seen Midori read her diary as his right hand since she cant remember any of it.

From where I got to in the manga I don't recall her reading it (about volume 3 or 4) but if i'm being honest by that point I wasn't really reading it anymore and just flicking through it because it was just kinda going over itself.

I completely agree with you here, I really enjoyed the series but it could have been spread out over a few more episodes- the last few eps were sqished into too small a space.

I loved the manga the manga more than the anime for some reason. I started watching the anime a few weeks ago and got to about episode 6 then got bored. Most probably because I already read the manga and new what the ending was
