Taking time-out from more recent DVD releases, Martin Butler has sent us his views on the classic mecha short series Macross Plus.<ul class="menu2">"The premise might sound like an animated Top Gun with higher-tech weaponry but there is much more to Macross Plus than that. Thanks to some superb animation, characterisation and a breathtaking soundtrack it is one of the true anime sci-fi classics. ah macross plus one of the first animes i saw when i really got into it, my friend always used to play the song in it when they were all in the field

First anime DVD's I ever got. On import no less, all those years ago when DVD's were a a rare thing in the UK, let alone anime DVD's.

Being a fan of Robotech as a lad, what else were I to do? :mrgreen:
