We kick off this week's UK reviews with Martin Butler's look at Hideaki Anno's seminal (yet controversial) conclusion to Neon Genesis Evangelion; The End of Evangelion.<ul><span class=menu>And this is the most striking aspect of EoE: the plot. I was tempted to give it a 10, but there are one or two minor gripes i had with it, namely the continuity and the almost complete lack of extras apart from the commentary track. some reviews i've come across really tear it apart, pointing out the labyrinthine plot (which is a bit stupid) and the pretentious way that it uses religious imagery and shocking scenes. you're right though. it IS an awesome film, if a bit disturbing.
