Resident Evil 5 Pushed back to 2009!

This kind of stuff is becoming all too familiar. Especially with some of the big PS3 releases. I mean I'm totaly pissed being a dedicated Ressie player. It wouldn't be so bad if I had Metal Gear to keep me occupied but theres talkes of that going back to 2009 too. DX

Thought I'd open this topic so those of you who care can display their dissapointment.

That was always the case though, there was always mentions of it being held to late 2008 to 2009. Nothing was really ever giving an accurate date for release.
 
Just the fact it's official now though. I'm sorry but I've been waiting for the next installment for soo long and now knowing that we have to wait for over another year just kinda did it for me.
No choice now like. Guess I'll just play threw all the RE games again. ¬_¬
 
hmmm.... it isnt because of the CG movie is it as capcom are having a hand in that (as I understand) - there could be another UC game or another resi game to fill the gap but thats probably just me being optimistic!

I think it's probably because there's a lot of stuff still to do on it. I'd happily wait while they made resi 5 the best it could be. As for resi games coming out next year, i have a hunch we'll see one maybe in one form or another :wink:
 
Metal Gear to 2009!? you gotta be having a giggle...

PS3 needs some big releases soon, i meen, i know they have things like Assassins creed and such but they need something new, exciting, and PS3 EXCLUSIVE! :D

Quite possibly true. ¬_¬ I for one hadn't heard the news untill my mate pointed it out a few days ago.

I can't wait for the next installment. It's going to be awesome... well, I hope it will be awesome. If if it's anything like RE4 it'll be a hoot. Just hope they don't try too hard and end up spoiling it (Cough)DOOM3(Cough). That's the main worry that I have anyway. We've now passed into the new game age. Games are looking sweet so lets not spoil it for a while shall we. ^^
