I just saw this tweet on Manga's UK:

And it got me wondering, by cool could something better than all these be finally airing. I hope so although it's probably unlikely to happen. But who knows...

As for anime on TV, there is also the hardly-known anime Penelope (Ukkari Penelope) which has been shown on CBeeBies and on BBC2, with the most recent showing on Christmas Day. And PrettyCure (Futari wa PreCure) showing on PopGirl, weekdays.

Whats this in regards to a similar plan to Syfy US - AniMonday block or do they have a deal in place with another UK broadcaster?

And also Madhouse's Stitch! is on Disney.

These are pretty mainstream shows that have been "adapted" for the Western audience though.
