Rapture is pulled from Sky's EPG

Shame but the fact that 95% of the channel was throwaway rubbish didn't help matters. They had very little actual programming.
 
Yeah, was just reading up on this after 193 came up as unavailable when I keyed it in. :?

It's true most of the channel's pap as far as i'm concerned but I quite like to watch Gamers, and also it goes without saying, the anime they show.

To be honest I thought this was only a matter of time when they announced the problems Sky were causing a while back, but I really hope the appeal works out for them and they get their number back. :(

At least if you know how to tune it in, you can store it as a favourite channel under services, but that won't help with bringing in any new viewers. :(

Not quite but similar. Rapture was in dispute with Sky well before Branson's little sulk, but it's a bit rich (no pun intended) for Sky to do this to Rapture after Virgin basically did the same thing to them.
 
Well, this is something of a blow against the whole deal isn't it?

Edit: Oh and thier plan of puting down LIVE was totaly smart now wasn't it?
 
The main thing about this it is another blow to have anime on tv.

I probably will tune it in the end but they would have to have better animes. I sometimes wonder why America have anime channels we still don't.
 
I was kinda shocked about Rapture being pulled from Sky. But I ain't bothered.

Probably because after the amazing FMA and Wolf Rain, They been showing crap recentley.

But now Anime on TV is reducing, we have to wait and see what Rockworld TV will do, and the likes of what Channel 5 is going to do with Toonami.

But so far, it doesn't look good.
 
This was inevitable, I'm suprised Rapture lasted as long with their history.

You know what they should do? Make an anime version of Big Brother, it'd be amazing.

Anyway. Back on Topic : But judging by their history of appearences on TV, I ain't suprised. They will appear back on SKy somehow.

They like going out of the door and back in, with a shocking entrance
 
Was considering joining Sky soon (not just for this channel) but after this and the whole virgin media thing i think i would rather not give my money over to such a greedy company.

Would be great if virgin media would pick up this channel...
