Question about R1 Basilisk Artbox

Hi.

I'm wanting to buy the R1 (US) Limited Edition Volume 1 of Basilisk which comes with the lovely wooden artbox (see image below) but I don't then fancy paying the premium for each limited edition volume.

From what i can tell, the limited editions are all digi-packs rather than normal DVD cases so I reckon that they might be a bit slimmer than the regular releases. Has anyone who owns this box tried to put 6 regular plastic DVD cases inside it? Will they fit?

The answer is NO and YES.

As you can see, they fit in terms of width, just. But some cases are are fraction too tall and jam.

I guess you can always swap your DVD cases around to get a fit.
 
Excellent! Thank you so much for taking the time to test this and take pictures. Once the Madlax cases were in, did you have any bother getting them out?
