Godhand
hi ya

i got a email from axle-planet and they they sent me this

Thank you for your recent order of Revolutionary Girl Utena - Apocalypse Saga (Limited Edition). We were wondering if you have experienced any issues with the box set as we have had a mention of the wrong contents on DVD 7.

At your convenience, please verify if your copy has every episode as it should or if there is any issue with it.

those of you who have this box-set check your copy and if you have a any problems with it do tell.

It would be a big help thanks

to be honest i dont know what im looking for so i sent them a email of what im looking for

im going to check on mine

please please please dont put this in the animefreak thread this is a topic

Without owning the DVDs, I can't really comment, but from the sounds of it, it looks like disc 7 might have contained the wrong episodes, so I'd compare with other with other discs in the set to see if anything is out of the ordinary; like episodes being repeated/skipped.

I tried using Google to find out the exact nature of the problem, but I haven't been able to find anything.

I tried googleing it too but I couldnt find nothing either.

I didn't want to watch it yet but it looks like il have to watch the hole series starting tomorrow

I just tested mine. Disc 7 is fine, contains all of the right episodes and you can see a huge "7" on the menu. I watched ep 26 accidentally somehow to test.

I'd also never heard of any known issues, might have been a one-off problem someone reported to Axel.

If it was your first time watching that I'm sorry for asking. I'm not sure what I'm looking for I really don't. Il just wait til I get a reply from axleplanet

I don't know if a ep is repeated or a ep is missing or what all I know they wrote me that message

Nah I've seen it millions of times :)

I'm pretty sure it must be an isolated thing, the Mania/FP forums would be going mad about it otherwise.

I checked the beginning of each ep on dvd 7 and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong there dosent seem to be any missing eps or repeats or anything on it. I sware if there is anything wrong with it when it cOmes to me watching it I'm going to be so pivved

Isn't pretty much every Nozomi/RightStuf boxset 'limited edition'? Sound fo the Sky, To Heart, Utena, Emma... etc...

I guess they can get away with calling them that as they probably only produce quite a small number (and they are usually in nice boxes with pretty booklets).

Can't say I remember any problems when I watched my copy earlier in the year (and Planetaxel never sent me any emails about problems with the order).

Is yours a LE boxset

All the boxsets are the same

Wrong. The likes of Gasaraki, Dirty Pair OVAs come in a single dvd case only even though they are multi-disc releases.

Still seems weird releasing them as limited edition when there is no regular edition (and probably no plans to ever release one).

Can't complain too much though as I'm fairly happy with the quality and price of the 'limited edition' ones.
