I was flicking through the tv guide for something worth watching and i noticed this, today at 4:30pm(sunday),or 5:30pm on film 4 +1.

Then agian on friday at 11pm or was it 11:20

Just letting you know i've wanted to see this one for a long time now.

You could always download it from KAA. Why watch it dubbed at a set time when you can watch it in JP whenever you want to?

Well
1. i'm not really that big a fan of subs they hurt my eyes and it's easy to miss bits if your not looking
2.Downloaded stuff is very bad quality not to metion i feel guilty because it's stealing :p

KAA are the best anime DVD rippers around. Very high quality.

I can kinda relate about the subtitle problem you have - Started having issues with subtitles when watching something dark, like light leaking from the text. Hurts my eyes to read it when like that.

Why not? As long as you plan on buying it in the long run it's no different than renting, the only difference being you don't pay some stupid price to do so.

Cool, thanks for pointing that out! I was flicking through the TV guide this morning and I missed it. Film4 are really great, huh? I'll be sure to be on the look-ou for more anime from them in the future. I'm actually not sure I'll be able to watch this today =( But I intend to get it on DVD eventually, anyway!

Yeah, you could always do that except, you know, it's illegal and means less money for the company that decided to release the movie in the west. The only things I ever download is the first episode of a series, ot a series that hasn't been released over here - I know it's still illegal, but I would pay money for these series if a company had decided to release them here.

Let's not go here again. Thanks for the reminder, i will be watching this for sure.

Sorry, I'll leave it here. :p

I have EVERY Ghibli DVD and every anime box set (that's listed on Find-DVD) on my watchlist. I refuse to pay over £5 for movies and waiting for most of the box sets to be better priced, there's only a few series I'd be willing to buy at current UK box set prices.

Aion, You can't mention any site that has illegal downloads. Paul would just remove them.
Because if we leave it just like that, AUKN would get in a lot of bother. Therefore, Paul removes them.
We can mention about the fansubs and such, but any site with methods of downloading is strictly prohibited.

I did only say the initials. :) But I do understand; I'll be careful not to even use initials of groups when posting in the future.

hmm I hope this doesnt escalate into an argument or anything, but I do have to agree with Aion for some parts, I know how its illegal... but people who are economically challenged do hav a chance to view the animes, and hmm as long as the anime is unlicensed and isnt showing over here nor is coming out on DVD.. I suppose downloading content like that is acceptable right? anyyyyyyways lol moving back on topic thanks for the timing! I'll be sure to look out for that movie!!

I'll try and come up with a news article a little bit later. Energy levels = low right now!

I'm actually kinda surprised it's only rated PG. I've seen less violent things rated 15.

Yeah the scean where he takes the guys arm off with an arrow was cool but knowing the BBFC I'm surprised that on its own didn't knock it up to 12.

I know hell i was a little surprised when the boar dissolved.
I was imagining one of the usual love stories with some fighting but that was pretty violent

I was a bit skeptical about it being "The best Ghibli" but honestly after that i can see why, loved every minute of it and now im off to buy the dvd.
