An anime fan with eyesight problems at the ancient age of 19 is most troublesome. Not only do I get minor flickering/dots dancing constantly across my entire field of vision, I've recently started to have issues with light from bright objects on dark backgrounds 'pulling' away from the object in question, creating a double vision type effect if I focus on it for a few seconds - This basically translates into problems for someone who watches subbed anime 24/7. Dubbed anime will be my only option if it worsens from very annoying to unbearable...
After going up for a rearranged appointment, only to find there's been a mistake, I'm still waiting for my appointment at Newcross to see an eye specialist on the 27th - I've been forced to wait 2 months. Paid £25 for an eye examination out of worry since my appointment was made, only to be told a theory about big pupils causing all my problems...
Ironically, I think the cause of these issues has been anime, or more specifically the huge amount of anime I've watched on the 19" LCD monitor I bought to wath anime on. It came set at default settings of 100/100 brightness and contrast, so I adjusted to and used those settings, later sticking with them due to the backlight bleed issues my monitor has. Daily use of an ultra bright monitor for hours has most likely caused some fairly serious issues.
Anyway, now that I've got that off my chest... POST SOMETHING BLOODY FUNNY, FUNNY ENOUGH TO MAKE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD!!11!!!
