-complete season boxset

the reason i ask, is because you can now pre-order the complete season 1 boxset from play.com

http://play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3355075/Naru ... oduct.html

(i would suggest they get the product information and the cover art correct before it's released.)

me personally,
complete boxset, because they normally work out cheaper then buying them individually and in terms of storage, they look great.
plus with naruto being a really long series, it'll work more cost effective doing it this way.
(and the all the other animes i'm watching, i won't have time to watch the volumes individually when there first released)

Hmm, it's weird that even the box art says 13 episodes.

I might get this though, I bought the US releases and feel I should show my support in the UK. Plus it'll be easier to store.

Well i personally wont be getting either, but seeing as my brother has already bought the two sets out at the moment,im sure he'll continue buying them that way.

Buying the complete season boxset makes no sense since buying part 1&2 will cost you £25.98 intotal, £7.01 cheaper than the complete set and you don't have to wait till September (season 2 part 2 should be out in August) to spent that £7 more. I'm gonna continue buying the season parts.

Uhh...I won't...

It's just too long an anime, it'd cost me a fortune and it's not good enough in my opinion to justify it, especially when I'm already following it and have all the episodes on one of my external HDDs.

Same for me it is just to longof an anime to buy.

same here.

if i'm honest if it wasn't for anime torrents i really don't think anime would be as popular as it is.

having said that it would be nice to have the box sets.

The 4 people above (excluding McIcy) me should be ashamed..
You don't want to buy the series that you've already watched 'illegally' because it's too long and will cost you too much money.. And you don't even like the series very much but you still watch it? o_O
You shouldn't have bothered downloading past the first episode if you didn't like it and shouldn't have even thought of downloading the series if you weren't planning to buy it..
I support fansubs in every way of course; but I think it's wrong to not buy the series that you've already watched 200+ episodes of..
Or maybe that's just me?.. I've seen a lot of this mind set from people on this forum lately and it's not on in my opinion..
Maybe Manga, MVM, ADV etc shouldn't bother buying the license for these series if people aren't going to bother buying it after watching it.. It's a privilege to be able to watch these series.. and now it finally comes here.. Fair enough if you didn't like it and stopped at episode 1 but I just don't think it's right if you've watched so much of a series..

Meh and no one can argue against me here because everyone knows what I've said is right : )

/rant and prepares to get flamed

Personally i waited ages, or what felt like ages before buying 1:1, and now they are finally going to be releasing complete seasons. Since i already have the first season in Parts; might as well continue that way.

Meh
