Planetes' Makoto Yukimura to release Vinland Saga in English

Kodansha is going to release in English the first book of Vinland Saga by Makoto Yukimura, mangaka of Planetes.

Vinland Saga is a historical action manga set in England during the Viking invasions, and follows a groups of Viking warriors through an epic story of blood, vengeance, blood, tragedy, royal intrigue and more blood.

Kodansha is promising to mark this release as the first of many, to be packed to the brim with extras, including 2-in-1 volumes, with over 460 pages, larger size (8"x5.5"), an exclusive Q&A with Yukimura, Viking cosplay photos from the artist, and an unreleased story "For Our Farewell Is Near" ("Sayonara ga chikai no de") as an extra.
Kodansha is also promising several little Easter eggs in the book design.

This has been known for a while. Ed Chavez from Vertical has said he wanted to publish it, but wasn't allowed to. Seems this was why.

I may mainly get it due to the treatment it is getting and because of possibly a distinct lack of Viking manga on the market...and Vikings are pretty cool!
