Why is this boxset so hard to find? the prices on amazon are insane! Yes i know its out of print but trying to find a cheaper copy hasnt been easy. Does anyone know where i can buy a copy of this via paypal or means that doesnt involve using a visa/master card?

Tried PlayUSA.com? They list it for £18.99. Out of stock, but worth a try.

I've watched one episode and didn't think much of it tbh.
 
Have you actually tried ordering it though? They don't just keep obscure stuff like that in the warehouse, you usually have to get them to chase it up.
 
I would try ordering it, I had this when trying to get the US Planetes boxset. When I went to get it, Bandai had discontinued it, I placed an order with RACS an low and behold Bandai had loads in stock,so it is worth trying.

With regards to King Gainer I have the boxset and despite being a huge Tomino fan I thought it was very average although I thought it was a rather nice looking series.

Going on the fact I could've mistaken glue for lube, had a wank, gone to the hospital for hand removal assistance and come back home to order the box set for very little, I'm doubtful you know what "hard to get" means.

Gotta love your descriptive posts Aion, thanks for the up mate but i'm trying to hunt down the boxset.
Also that set is missing the 6th disc which seems the most expensive :S
 
The boxset was there when he posted the link, someone must have ordered it, so you could keep your eye on there still to see if they get it back in.
