Ouran High School Host Club English Dub

So, I've never been one of these people who's really snobby about dubbed anime and refuses to watch anything that's not subbed (hell, I even enjoyed the Naruto dub!), but the Ouran dub is absolutely awful. I love this anime and I feel like I want to rip my ears off after hearing the dub.
Anyone else seen it? Is it just me or is this dub particularly bad?
Is there anyone out there that has anything good to say about it?
 
I saw Funi's trailer, and thought the dub sounded awful. It was like they were trying to make the boys sound like girls, rather than just having them as feminine guys. Sounded pretty horrible.

It's actually really funny, if you like that kind of thing (which I do!)

But yes you are right about the "lame dub" bit. I was so disappointed, not because I particularly wanted to see the dub myself, but because I have friends who prefer to watch dubbed anime and I was really hoping to get them to watch this, because I really enjoyed it, but now I feel embarrassed to show it to them...
 
I find it funny, the very ambiguious signal are just that, ambiguious (unlike Seto, where they are ott) then again, gender bender anime are usually hilarious so that's a plus.

However I doubted a decent dub could be done, simply because I knew what would happen to the guys voices, I just knew it, and it did. Ah well.

I've watched enough anime to know what I will and will not like. The only time I've been proven wrong was with One Piece.
 
I thought the dub sounded perectly fine minus a few crevats (The twins sound near enoguh nothing alike and Funi's normal "English the song" just didn't work this time around)

Course, it could be "Kamina" Princible at work, "Oh, he souds nothing like the japanese voice of [x] so the show sucks!"
 
Does Vic Mignogna do the lead male in that ****** Edward Elric voice? That voice is really getting over-used now, he has more talent than that.

Yep. That was one of the things I disliked most about the dub, that voice is just...not the right voice for Tamaki. I had imagined it would be a bit deeper, a bit older sounding. He supposed to be the prince-type, I would have wanted him to sound...whats the word I'm looking for...smoother, maybe(?) and cooler. The Ed Elric voice is too geeky.
