I was fortunate enough to get these new releases through the post yesterday, 4 days before their intended release (ironically from Bensonsworld... who usually get DVDs out to me about 2 weeks late!). I can easily recommend them, but I'd have to say that they're possibly my least favoured Ghibli releases (of what i've seen so far). Nevertheless, they're still awesome! Buy Buy Buy!
TBH, my judgement may be clouded by the fact that i'm feeling quite ill at the moment. Nevertheless, they both contain rather emotional scenes in their last halves. But as far as things go, these are probably two of the more outlandish Ghibli films.
