One Piece Episode Guide?

I was recently thinking that i may start watching one piece again, but as i use to watch it ages ago on TV i have no idea what episode i got up to (from memory).

Does anyone know a good site where i can read the episodes and see if i can find out where i got up to?

The last episode i remember (i think) was when they were in that sand place and Robin saved luffy from some sand hole (not much use, i know, but someone may have an idea!)

Your better off starting from the beginning if you were watching it edited. Parts would come to confuse you now, and later on. They are like two totally different shows. Its nice to hear your giving One Piece another shot, though. ;D

**** watching One Piece, though, seriously, it's a great series, but I'd rather you just read the manga, the anime is like magic in that it captures the characters perfectly, but it's gonna take you ages to watch a 30 minute episode of 1 chapter when you can read that chapter in like... 5 minutes.

Because 4kids spliced episodes together, removed entire, arcs, etc. Destroyed parts of the series, and right now in the series you NEED to see these missing arcs in order for the story to piece together.

Would you like a pleasent watching experience were everything pieces together or rather be all "URGH, WHAT THE HELL, THIS WASN'T MENTIONED IN THE DUB EPISODES" Your choice.

You could just wait until Funimation releases the boxsets, then you could just watch it whenever a set gets released so it isn't a whole load in one go. (which from what I heard, the sets will be released every 6-8 weeks apart).

I bit the same bullet; I watched too far in the dub and earnestly couldn't have been bothered to watch the series from the start again.

Collecting the manga is ideal: the lost material is wholly contained in the 17 volumes currently on sale. In other words, if you read volumes 1 - 15, you'll gain the best impression of the characters and the story, without having to revisit the Alabasta material again (which, compared to earlier episodes, was slightly more faithful to the Japanese version in the dub. That is to say, vast scenes of character development and plot weren't removed.)
