Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

Hovis!

Vampire Ninja
Almost forgot about this one. Probably the most unerrated game on the first Xbox and one of the most underrated games period of this generation.

Thinking about it, this game probably is currently the best, seamless blend of the first person perspective and third person perspective genre in a video game.

I think this game shows that Western art direction and imagination can be as good as the Far East, don't you think?

Best sequence in the game has to be the spoof-like beach landings near the end of the game.

For some reason I thought this game was quite creepy too! Those creatures that worship you freaked me out!

Thought I'd share that. :)

I completely agree.. It is under-rated.

Those guys near the end are funny though.. Hit them when you get your boat and they start running into each other..

You know what's really sad, the way the lead character runs I keep wanting to go on all fours and run like him.

Its because I'm a freak... nrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkkkk!

That.. is rather sad.. but what about at the end.. when hes running on all 6

That would be very hard to compensate for, though I have one or two ideas how to get over this. :? :D

I know of the whole Oddworld series, but never heard of this game before. o_0

One of the few genuinely decent games EA published happens to be one they made zero effort to market (same with the official UK release of We Love Katamari). :D

i was quite fond of the first 2 oddworld games, exodus and oddeyse. it took me a while but i did get all the mudokens in the end. strangers wrath has been out for a while now and i still haven't played it..but from what i heard its not going to be the last one to come out.

I've heard it will be the last Oddworld game because the developers - Oddworld Inhabitants - are going to move into animation.

I think how their games have been recieved (or more precisely, haven't been recieved) it would probably be a wise business move, but (assuming that they do in fact move solely into animation) on a personal front it'll be a shame because a genuinely decent developer will be gone from the industry.

But I might be wrong (that happens you know. More often than not in fact!). ;-D
