Noein: To Your Other Self

I've bought the first box set when it was first release. I enjoyed it, even though i was expecting more. The second volume is coming out on the 23rd. Does the show get better or should i be expecting more of the same.

P.S. the vol. 2 art work is brilliant.

Well was looking for something to watch and shoved in Anime Showcase 1 and watched the 1st Ep of this, thought it was really good.

Anyone seen the whole series. Any thoughts?
 
I've got the collection, and I think it was a great show in all. Instead of a load of faux sci fi, this one actually does do very well all the way through in keeping a consistent backing. The characters are very good generally, especially as the show goes on. I'm not completely thrilled about the ending, which I will state outright is not bad, but simply as I think it left a lot of open ends. However there are some very good twists and it is in all pretty unique, which is saying something!

Probably the worst bit is the lack of a 'play all' option on the dvds (unforgivable in this day and age) and if that is the worst complaint one can have then itere is a lot going for it!
 
I had not realised the UK release does not have play all, the US one I have does. Good series over all but can be a little confusing if you are not quite awake as I seemed to be while watching it.
 
Spectacular series, but the UK release is dubtitled, so I strongly advise buying the R1 set if you watch anime subbed. :p

I watch it dubbed, glad I do in this case as it means the UK anime industry is getting my money :D

I watched it quite some time ago, It wasn't bad. I would say its on par with a lot of other dubs (ADV dubs come to mind), Nothing to write home about, though.
 
I never saw an actual episode dubbed, but I watched those bloopers dubbed (well I had to because you could only watch them dubbed). As a sub watcher, I'd say they were pretty good, even if the script was completely changed for the purpose of the bloopers.
 
On the main menu, you need to click on the top circle with "noein" written in it.

I couldn't click on it on disc 4, so they either weren't included in disc 4 or it's an error.
