It's finally here.

I've had it pre-ordered for a long time and finally got to play the demo last night. It was great demo. Today I just got back from picking up my copy of the game. I haven't played it yet because I have things to do and I'm going out to do stuff with a mate. However, when I get back, it is so on!

Anyone else got it yet or played it? If you're playing it, what's your opinion so far?
 
I played the demo and it was alright, the fighting was very fast and the arm falling off animations were very cool (and frequent :) ) but i'm not sure if i'll get it as yet
 
Ahh its out? i completely forgot =/ i'll probably be picking it up sometime when i'm next in town. Probably just before my final couple of exams. Looking forward to it though.
 
Played the demo, it was like Devil May Cry but better, might get it. Although Itagaki left Tecmo, should I get the last of his works!?

Just so you know, the demo was set to easy and with the best weapons being maxed out. I've started playing it on "Path of the Warrior" (or normal). Oh boy, this game is kicking my ass.

Yup. And on that note, Itagaki has filed a lawsuit against Tecmo.
 
Ninja gaiden.. I remember the first one... I like the devil may cry series.. I might get this one as well. What's your impressinos so far Maxon?

My first impression is that it's mental...but in a good way.

I laugh at the people who cry about it being too hard.
 
I finished the first god of war on hard (or hell, can't remember what it's called now). It was painful...
 
I've heard Ninja Gaiden II is worse than the first one judging by Game Central, saying it's more Linear and less oomph than the last one.

From the vids though... I just don't seem that impressed. Imo I prefer DMC

I'm super turned off by the all the talk of how punishingly hard this game is. So I don't think I'll ever be playing a Ninja Gaiden game :]
 
I think I might just buy Ninja Gaiden because Itagaki bashed on DMC saying the enemies just come at you to be slaughtered with ease while his games push you to the edge and you struggle to survive. If he bashes on DMC, he's alright with me.
 
I've decided to play this game on Path of the Acolyte (easy) because Path of the Warrior (normal) just totally kicked my ass.

I don't blame you. It feels like I'm going to burst a blood vessel with some of the later levels.

Because 9/10, I am right to have my doubts... Especially with Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. It's a good game and very challenging, but it lacks thrills and the quirky humour that DMC has.

But heh, give me Ninja Gaiden over GOW anyday...

Not really... There are a lot of other games I rather play... Besides... GC reviews are spot on because in the past, the games I play are likely to reflect the score =P

i LOVVE itagakis games... but i ******* hate itagaki! he's a douche! and he's games dont push u to survive! theyre cheap! the enemies are ******* cheap shot taking whore mongers! because the difficulty is so high people seem to think theyre getting a much better challenge than anything else out there....

like devil may cry is perfect with its diffulcity, when its in easy/normal its at a nice pace, lets u get a feel for the game, hone ur skills then ur ready for he harder modes which require all ur skills... its not like that wit ninja gaiden u just get ur assed kicked and theres nothing u can do about it, its just sheer luck if u win or die... BAWLS!

but i am doa obsessed¬_¬

That's not necessarily true. The Ninja Gaiden games are only suited for the most hardcore of gamers. I have heard that Ninja Gaiden II gets a bit cheap late in the game though.
