New Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, "Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V" to begin next spring.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! multimedia franchise certainly has grown since its humble beginnings as a Weekly Shonen Jump manga series by Kazuki Takahashi. Not only was the original manga adapted into two anime series' (the first of which was never released international), but the franchise has also grown to include&nbsp;a global trading card game phenomenon, movies, video games and original anime series'. Following the end of Yugi Mutou's journey, the anime has featured numerous new series' focusing on brand new casts of characters, such as&nbsp;<em>Yu-Gi-Oh! GX</em>&nbsp;(2004-2008),&nbsp;<em>Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's</em>&nbsp;(2008-2011) and&nbsp;<em>Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal</em>&nbsp;(2011-2014).

The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan has announced that the next series in the franchise,&nbsp;<em>Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V</em>, will begin broadcasting in Spring 2014. Information about the series will be coming in subsequent issues of the magazine, but we do know that it features a brand new protagonist called Yuyu Sakaki.
