The Boss
Tokyopop recently confirmed the release date of Koichi Sumimaru's .hack//4Koma manga on April 6, 2010. The gag comedy manga re-imagines Kite, Atoli, Haseo, and the other characters from the .hack//G.U. RPG trilogy.

Tokyopop has also officially announced other .Hack titles such as .hack//Alcor & .hack//CELL.

I've read the twilight bracelet manga from .hack and I've seen liminality, twilight and sign. I have roots and GU lined up, waiting on my cupboard for a free slot of my time.

Although .hack in general is slow paced, I think that this is a great series and a good franchise that is constantly good, which is hard to say about others franchises as big as this.

I've seen .hack//Sign and am onto the 3rd Game of the 1st series (while owning all 4). I also have all of the Another Birth books, both volumes of XXXX, both AI Buster books, plus Legend of the Twilight manga and DVD sets.

Have a singular volume of G.U.+ manga, and none of that series of games or anime.

*Drools* Sorry dude, But I have the 1st series games (and completed), Sign, LOTB (manga and dvds), all the light-novels (AI Buster+Another Birth), I'm collecting +G.U. , got 12 x Starers pack for the card game //Enermy and have multiple .hack figurines (of different sizes)...

And now that those 3 titles are coming out, those b****es are mine! :D
*Breathes heavily* MAN! I never boast like that! Now I know why people do it, it feels good!

I don't do figures, and the CCG was a bit on the **** side. Which is something coming from an avid CCG player

So, short of you finishing the games, there's little to brag about :p

I'm a little tired of .hack but I'll probably get the 4koma if nothing else. Plenty of material there to give me a good feeling about it.

Hehe, I never played the card game myself. :p I just wanted to collect something relitive to .hack (I was obsessed and felt needy to have a taste of each little piece of the franchise).
I've regained my composure, so I wont be bursting out like that for a while. :p (Very defensive on the "man who knows .hack" thing, since Ryo keeps cutting in and stops me "doing my job.")

.hack is the most manufactured, soulless franchise in Japanese entertainment and it really shows. It's like the idea for the actual series only came after the idea to make lots of money.

I might have actually agreed with that to some extent if I hadn't already seen Megaman Starforce. It's going to take something to beat that on the lack of atmosphere meter.

Could say the same for Pokemon... Guess the formula works. ;)
