New Games for the DS

As we all await the arrival of the newest games on the horizon for the DS I was wondering what titles everybodu is looking forward to the most.

Personally I'm waiting for Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy, and Spectrobes.

So what do you think about these titles? And what titles are you waiting for the most for your DS?

I have to say I'm eagerly waiting for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles & Spectrobes.
This new version of FF promises to be different from the others in the series; Square's first game for a Nintendo console since the days of the Super NES takes the lush fantasy world from the Final Fantasy franchise and adds-in Gauntlet-style four-player action. The game does away with traditional experience points and instead focuses on action-oriented combat with a unique co-op slant.
Spectrobes also seems like a really exciting game. It allows players to excavate, train and battle with nearly 500 unique creatures - utilizing every interactive feature of the Nintendo DS. Players must collect, train and help their Spectrobes evolve in order to progress and succeed in the game.

Anyone heard of a Nintendo DS game called Contact? Its a Japanese RPG made by the same studio who did the PS2 title Killer7. I've heard its quite good. Anyone got any more first-hand details?

Amazing another person using the search button

I want ff3 for the ds 8)

I do it all the time on this forum. Its a quirk I have, a bit like the other quirk I have of naming things in full.

And ditto about Final Fantasy III. :)

FFIII is alright, you really need to be prepared for a retro game if you want to play it properely though. Despite being a remake it's still quite tough, and unrewarding in places.

Pokemon Diamond...that's the only one I can really think of, seeing as I've already got most of the upcoming "big" games on import. >_<

Lookin forward to Elite Beat Agents when it finally surfaces over here, as well as Hotel Dusk and Cooking Mama. Gonna have to import Super Robot Wars W, though, cos there's no chance if it ever coming over here :p

I just bought my DS, so I'm not planning to buy any game that's not absolutely fabulous ;)
FF looks quite good so far... Any other suggestions?

Not so much RPGs and more adventures, but I'd recommend Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Another Code: Two Memories as they're both quite creative in their puzzles and have interesting stories.

After that then its the usual various Mario 64, New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart etc.

Have fun! :D

Pokemon Diamond, FF3 and Hotel Dusk - the last game is by the makers of Another Code, and is really polished and immersing. Detective mystery story, proper clue finding and tricky dialogue, and using your own handwritten notes. A friend of mine got an import of it, and it looks the sex.

This Hotel business better be longer than Another Code. I finished AC in two days of on/off play, without a guide or anything...

Yeah, completed mine in less than 6 hrs during bus journeys T_T even though I tried to get all the extra chips. My friend seems to be taking time over it though, and she's no stranger to this sort of game, so I'm sure it wil last longer ^_^

Ok so first of I DON'T own a DS, but I wish I did for NEWZEALAND STORY REVOLUTION, I had the original on my amiga back in the 80's and I loved that game
