The official website for the Eden of The East anime series has begun streaming a new trailer for the upcoming theatrical film adaptation on Saturday.  The final episode of the original television anime series aired in June with confirmation that the theatrical adaptation will be split into two films. The first film, Eden of The East the Movie I: The King of Eden, will open throughout Japan on December 19 — three weeks after the original scheduled date of November 28.
The second film, Eden of The East the Movie II: Paradise Lost, is slated to open on January 9, 2010.

Hmmm this is why you check your message after posting it ^_^

edit: how weird is that? the links work when you quote it??

OOooo! I'll be looking forward to this. Really enjoyed the series and felt a little let down with the end. Not that I was disappointed as it was obviously left open for a continuation. I think I can wait now but I'm still gonna want to see it.

Series was far too over-rated, it was like Ouran High School Host Club, nothing really happened until like 2/3 through the series. Will still watch the movies though, no doubt.

I'm quoting this out of context because I stopped reading for a moment here as my brain was going "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA". :D

But yeah, I think the show was superb, it just had a touch of class that 99.5% of shows don't have. You can say something like "nothing really happened" - well, stuff happens all the time in soap operas and other melodrama, I don't think this is instantly a good thing, not a requisite for a good show overall.

I really really thought it had promise but ended up boring me around 8/11 and I never got to finishing it. It was interesting but let down by all the family ******** with the girl. Might finish it off just to see if the movies work on the pacing better.
