I also got to speak to another friend who went (who had never been to a con before) and they said they really enjoyed it. So it could have also been a case of them comparing it to other (larger) cons they had been to.But sure, I'll ask them when I get the chance. If it happens again next year, I'll probably be going along - main reason I couldn't this year was because I didn't get my Jobseekers when I expected to.
