New Anime Releases 29/06/2014

I have the US versions of Steins;Gate and Strong World. Not interested in the other shows.

Steins;Gate should be arriving today (loving Amazon Prime's Sunday deliveries). I intend to finish the game first before watching it though.

I might sell my singles of Steins;Gate and get the complete series to save on space.

Will probably pick up Girls Und Panzer: OVA Collection for my Brother, along with the TV Series.

I believe the Steins Gate complete set is in a double case for Blu-Ray, so would take up just as much space.

I already own the Steins Gate 1/2 season Blu-Rays and have no interest in One Piece or We Without Wings.
I may pick up Girls und Panzer if they did a complete Blu-Ray set, but feel a tad ripped off having to buy the OVA's separately. I know it's the same in the USA though.

I imagine there will be more of this in future as shows are being licensed long before their bonus OAV episodes are produced (and probably before they're even planned, in some cases). So as with separately OAV spin-offs, the US companies are having to license them separately and incurring the same costs of production all over again. It makes sense they'd want to recoup that instead of paying thousands of dollars extra just to give foreign fans an expensive bonus feature in the main set which most people won't even notice is there.

If it's a choice between not getting them at all or paying a small fee to get them on a separate disc, I know which I'd prefer. There are still so many 'lost' OAV episodes which never came over in the past :(

I understand that, but it disappoints me. I wouldn't expect them as just a bonus feature, but would prefer it be priced higher and as a complete set. Would also keep costs down from having to do two different releases.

I think I miswrote my post as well. I meant I will pick it up when/if a complete set does become available eventually.

I still need to get the main series of GuP before I even consider the OVAs.
No interest in One Piece.
I have the half-season sets of Stein's;Gate. I wish I had waited for the complete set though, the artwork is fantastic.
We Without Wings is a 'maybe as deal-of-the-week' title for me.

Received Girls und Panzer OVA (Blu-ray) last week.

Not interested in One Piece.

Already own the individual parts of Steins;Gate.

Have the US release of We Without Wings.

Ahaha, OreTsuba. Ahahahahahahahahahaha.

I'll probably buy the GirlPan OVAs just to support MVM's efforts in making them available on BD.

Will get Girls und Panzer OVAs.
On the fence about Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai. Which usually means I buy it the first time I walk into a shop that has it for sale.

Difficult to say when it would have been negotiated, surely. Sentai licensed the show before it even started airing, so presumably it's a knock-on effect of the way the international rights for the show were dealt with in general rather than just "MVM licensed it when all this content was already available".

GuP OVA is in the post from Amazon
One Piece movie I might get at some point, need to start watching One Piece first
Already own the spilts for SG

Might get We Without Wings if I see it going for cheap

Steins;Gate just arrived and I noticed something funny; on the rating box, the rating's there, saying it's suitable for persons of 12 years and over and all that, but the part where it describes the content (example: Accel World's first volume arrived with Steins;Gate, and it has "strong language, moderate violence, gore, nudity"), that sort of thing, it's completely empty, just pure white. Has this happened with anybody else? I really don't care, I just found it funny.
