will get code geass and hack. not so sure about soul eater. I would have bought BDs without thinking, but not so sure on DVD
 
Oh if CGr2 is a brick case when r1 was digipaks there will be hell to pay. If there's one thing I can't stand it's DVD box incongruency (no really, I'm that sad =P)
 
I have .hack as of yesterday, Geass is in the post and I'll probably grab Soul Eater later in the year as I'm saving for my holidays now. A good release week after a long drought (for me)!

Just been watching Soul Eater today, and it's quite good, i'll definately get this release

as for Code Geass, i'll also be getting that along with the rest of season 1

I thought the exact same thing when I saw the picture!! I hate that and odd shaped/oversized sets :roll:

=D I had read similar things from Beez but good to know for sure. Ironically though if it's released in anime legends bricks I'll probably swap it for those, since they don't stick out from the rest of my dvds =P
 
Just Geass R2 for me. Although I am hoping I will win the Soul Eater Comp this place is running! If I don't I will probably wait for the inevitable Box Set. I think it's a great series, but I'm not in a hurry to watch it again so soon.
 
I got r2 today =3. Though those Baba theater extras just go way over my head XP it's that weird understated japanese humour I think. As opposed to the more OTT comedy like Ouran, which I get =P

Me too actually XP It doesn't have that "leather bound book" vibe the first one does but it looks coooool. plus it makes sense. By comparison r2 is an explosion of colours XP often without rhyme or reason.

It's a super robot show, why should there be reason. The first season is real robot; that captures the differnece quite well.
