New Anime Releases 28/01/2013

So my cancellation for the Agartha LE didn't go through with Amazon and it has been sent to me. I'm more than likely going to send it back, but before I consider that I was wondering if anyone would possibly be interested in buying it from me. (I ordered it when it was £17.99 so it would be that and P+P)

Got all three in the post. I'm actually amazed that Amazon honoured the £15 preorder price I got EL for.

I would have bought day 1 for that price for sure. Amazon and a lot of online shops do that, even if they raise the price, you get the price that was at the momento you bought. Happens to me more than once already.

I have the old ADV release of Elfen Lied, and Canaan is one of titles which was just far, far too late in making it to these shores - Must be going on two years since I imported the US BD. A shame too, as it's the kind of thing I'd like to show my support for MVM by buying. All of you buy it on my behalf instead.

Agartha Christie will be bought at some point, but I'd like it on BD and it's a bit more than I can justify spending on a single film right now.

Received my copy of Agartha today. A note regarding the Agartha release: The booklet is NOT stuck to the case like with Berserk. You can take it out.

However, the case is cardboard. I didn't like it when Beez went this route with Gundam 00 and I don't like it here. Why? Because this:

I honestly would have preferred a blu-ray amaray case inside a slip cover (which is what I was expecting). Or perhaps even a digipack.

How is the Canaan BD if you don't mind me asking?
I've heard the JP BDs were deinterlaced, yet Sentai's were not. Comparing the JP and US BD rips on my laptop the difference is pretty noticeable, but is it noticeable on a TV? I'm guessing a BD player would deinterlace it to some extent.

Digipacks should come back more often. I really like them.

MangaUK have said on Twitter that they're going to try and sort me out a new case. So that's good.

I do agree bakum4tsu, Digipacks are awesome.

They did? That's nice indeed.

Yeah digipacks are always welcome of course. :)
